Our new mango cycling socks represent a juicy, yellow-orange color, which has recently been breaking popularity records in both the food and fashion industries. This exotic fruit came to us from India. It has been cultivated there for over 4,000 years. Mangoes appeared in the oldest Hindu books and was considered “the fruit of the gods”. It did not reach Europe until the 16th century during the great geographical discoveries.

Currently, the mango fruit is cultivated on all continents in over 1,000 varieties, including in tropical regions of America, Africa, Australia and Oceania, as well as in Europe. Up to 25 carotenoids have been recorded in the mango fruit, mainly beta-carotene, which is responsible for the yellow-orange color of most varieties. This color, although obvious, is also clearly associated with this exact fruit. We suspect that this is due to the enormous popularity of mangoes and the fact that everyone loves them.
